Then take a tour of the art gallery with music from Pictures at an Exhibition. Dr Nicholas Milton AM will be your tour guide\, introducing the ‘promenade’ music that takes you from picture to picture\, pointing out the unique colours created by different instruments along the way\, and revealing how the orchestra paints these dramatically different artworks in sound. Children in the audience will have the opportunity to create their very own artworks\, inspired by Mussorgsky’s magnificent music.
